Richard Gordon Speaks to the Chicago Sun-Times About Proposed Changes to Illinois' Workers' Compensation Laws

Richard Gordon recently spoke to the Chicago Sun-Times regarding proposed changes to Illinois' workers' compensation laws for injured athletes. "These are players with lifelong injuries who are going to need hip replacements, spinal fusions," Gordon is quoted in the article. "It’s easy to look at these guys as millionaire athletes who don’t deserve special treatment. But there are hundreds of athletes who make less than $100,000 a year.”

At Gordon Law Offices, one of our specialties is representing professional athletes suffering from job-related injuries, including post-concussion syndrome, Alzheimer's disease, memory loss, and other neurological complications related to repetitive head trauma. We believe every athlete deserves to be compensated for injuries sustained in the course of their employment, just like any other worker.
