My passion for workers’ compensation began while interning at a law firm after college that represented injured workers. There, I saw first-hand the struggle and uphill battle injured workers face after reporting a workplace injury. Following law school, I defended insurance companies in workers’ compensation claims, which I believe provides me with a unique perspective when analyzing our clients’ cases. I believe employers and insurance companies often lose sight of the purpose of workers’ compensation insurance, and I am committed to diligently fighting for our clients’ rights.
Kevin was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, where he still resides today. He attended the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, where he earned a degree in Environmental Science and Management. At that time, he began volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. There, he assisted in building homes while also developing lifelong friendships with the recipients.
Following an internship with a workers’ compensation firm, Kevin knew he wanted to focus his practice of law on workers’ compensation claims. While attending law school at Chicago-Kent School of Law, Kevin worked for two years assisting attorneys and injured workers as a law clerk, where he gained experience in all aspects of a workers’ compensation claim. Kevin began his professional career as an insurance defense attorney, which provides him with a unique perspective on how insurance companies and their lawyers evaluate cases.
Kevin is extremely passionate about representing our clients and believes respect and communications between client and counsel is of the utmost importance.
